MSPCA-Angell protects animals, relieves their suffering, advances their health and welfare, prevents cruelty, and works towards creating a just and compassionate society. Founded in 1868, MSPCA-Angell (full name, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals-Angell Animal Medical Center) is the second oldest humane society in the United States. MSPCA-Angell is a leader in animal protection and veterinary medicine, providing hands-on care for thousands of animals every year through its veterinary hospital, adoption services, training and behavioral classes, and a low cost spay/neuter program.
The Trefler Foundation has supported MSPCA-Angell’s work at its hospital and adoption program. The Foundation’s support reflects a commitment to the health and well-being of all animals and is a special interest of the Trustees.
